Topic Proposal

Concussions are a growing issue in football. They have been appearing at a higher and higher rate over the last 10 years. Many parents are preventing their kids from playing football due to the risks and fears about concussions. Heads up football is an organization dedicated to training coaches on how to hit properly and prevent serious injuries. Many parents feel these precautions are not enough.

Should parents let their children play tackle football? What other measures should be taken to make the sport safer?

I grew up playing football and have always loved it. I personally would let my kids play just because of the increased precautions, but i still believe it needs to become safer.
